Review : Quality control not great, but the desk is very nice for the price
I put this desk together for my wife. It comes in 4 large boxes- two for the ends, one for the desk top and one for the hutch. I like the fact that it is mostly solid wood. I had some trouble lining up the drawers on the right side so that they are all exactly centered with each other and did not feel like fussing with it too much, so I left it was it was. If you are OCD this might be a problem for you. The fold out keyboard drawer face does not snap up all the way- something with the hinges we got with ours- basically crap quality control. One piece from the hutch also had a busted corner- I would have had to return the item, but it was in the back and out of sight- and I was able to glue it back on. After reading the other person's review about needing to send the whole thing back in instead of them just replacing the busted part, I didn't bother. Out of sight out of mind. Also the desk top itself was slightly curved- again not a deal breaker but still kind of crappy quality...
