What I can spend is usually the over-riding factor in my decision to buy. Compared to the other desks I was looking at, this one was a very good price.

1. It's a do-it-yourself project.
2. The quality would be decent - not great, but not terrible.
3. It would get damaged in some way during transit. (I've done a lot of "put'em togethers" and it happens more often than not.)
