Review : Looks OK, decent value.
So this is still mainly a particle board IKEA style put it together cabinet. Comes in 3 heavy boxes, and the granite top is nice.
It goes together OK, directions are mediocre but sufficient. It's probably the best version of this style of furniture out there, so compared to what you'd get from IKEA it's definetly a step up. It does have some real wood parts, but not everything is as you might expect from the description.
Minor damage in hidden areas when it arrived, but otherwise intact.
One of the drawers wouldn't go together very square, so check that before you put the screws in.
It's good from far but far from good. It looks good and functions the way it ought to, just seems overpriced for what it is. I looked around a lot and I don't think there is a better value, as the furniture stores wanted $1200+ for something similar, and anything cheaper is going to seriously look it..
So I think this is more a commentary on the 'kit furniture' more than a knock on...
