Review : Thinking Yves? Eh.... Maybe not.
This sideboard looks great on the website, but the devil is in the details.
#1 - Made in China - and probably not a good part. It arrived with some minor damage to the corner and looks like manufacturer defect, not the shipper.

#2 - Like a Monet, it looks great from far away, but get closer and you'll make the same face I am right now. The stain was applied cheaply, and was sprayed without sawdust from the mill being blown & wiped off, which got stuck on the detail, which makes for a terrible dusting experience. I might even have to sand the detail down again and restain everything with a lacquer finish to fix it.

#3 - The top is very smooth, with a clean finish, and looks like it is made from a slightly sturdier wood.

Overall, this item gets 3 stars for lack of quality control and cheapness, but still a functional and good looking piece - from a distance.
