Reviewing this with a tape measure because I was really looking for exact dimensions when I took a gamble on this. I bought this desk to fight a very tight works space in my apartment and it does the job perfectly. The top platform on the desk is 10" deep, perfect for my 27" iMac, my mStand Laptop Stand, my iPad on the Thermaltake H4 Aluminum Stand, and my G-Tech 4TB and 1TB drives. The lower level of the desk has an effective work area of about 12.5" x 47.5", though it actually measures 13.5" x 47.5", the last inch towards the outer edge is bevelled and can't be used (though it is quite comfortable when I'm drafting). I do most of my work on the largest Intous5 tablet and it fits just perfectly. The keyboard tray is 25.5" from the ground while the desktop is 29" and I find they're both at a comfortable height for me (5'10"). The only reason I deducted a star is that at 75lbs, the package was clearly too much trouble for UPS. It arrived slightly...
